Vine Cafe Opening

Vine cafe

Vine cafe is an artistic themed cafe that had their grand opening recently in Pasig. They celebrated their opening by giving out free desserts on their first day. The cafe is near Immaculate Conception Cathedral making it accessible by walking for students and church goers. The place is actually near my home too so I grabbed the chance to have a free dessert My mom’s blood indeed runs in me who loves freeebies! I actually have been waiting for them to open since I saw that it is a cafe that’s in construction. Well, one day I really want to have my own so it easily gained my interest. I really want to watch how they progress and stuffs.

Okaaay so Let’s Start with the food.

So their pasta ranges from P140-150. I ordered Carbonara that is for P140. Their carbonara is quite dry and not creamy compared to most carbonara and the taste is on the average I would say though they sprinkle lots of bacon toppings. Well, I still prefer my carbonara to be creamy.

Next is the 3 cheese panini

Their panini is simply layered with three cheese and fresh basil leaves. A vegetarian? Try this then, It was for Php 90 so I’ll really suggest they add another piece because I still want more of it.

For the cakes for yesterday they have choco mousse, Bannoffee and a calamansi flavored cake which I forgot how they call it.

I’ll give their bannoffee two thumbs up! I really liked it a lot! There’s a satisfying taste on every layer of the bannoffee and they compliment each other in just one bite!

Then for the choco mousse, their choco mousse is harder than the usual choco mousse BUT it is overflowing with rich chocolate flavor.

They have Iced (P40-60) or Hot drinks (P45-55) and Frappes (P100-120). And of course what young ones usually wants, we ordered Two Frappes! Latte con choco (P100) and Double Choco (P120)

Latte Con Choco which my sister mistakenly ordered thinking it wasn’t coffee based! (Hello! it says LATTE) My sister don’t drink coffee because she wants to drink her first coffee in a foreign country which she forgot to do when we went to South Korea so until now she can’t drink coffee yet. Anyway back to Latte Con Choco which end up to be mine taste like the usual iced coffee topped with whipped creamed and chocolate syrup. so yeah the taste was pretty usual and common.

The Double Choco, kids who love sweets will definitely love this! What more to explain? its chocolate! I really suggest that you order this for your kids since it’s not coffee based and who don’t likes chocolates? So this will be a safe choice for your kids!

While writing this I was trying to find a theme for the cafe and I end up with a very broad theme that is art simply because it has everything.

They have painting and quotations on walls.

Their tables have bible passage and they even have a painting on the wall of Jesus.

There’s a reading nook as well with a uniquely designed bookshelf. Where I enjoyed taking a lot of pictures, If you see my camera roll you’ll see a great number of pictures of me with books on different poses and angles. Check on #vinecafebyfns on IG to see different lovely poses in their reading nook.

I was actually not expecting that much for their interior considering they don’t have any competition since they are the only cafe in the area but still they didn’t just go with a so so interior they exerted effort and artistic skills on it.

So if you’re near the area why not give it a try? And take pictures in their reading nook
